Fairfield Gives Back
Fairfield Properties a large residential property management company has a wonderful program called Fairfield Gives Back. Rather than hosting a traditional staff Holiday Party the company and its employees chose to host a party for a charity. Shiloh House was fortunate enough to be the chosen organization for this year's event.
On Thursday December 17, 2009 the boys were treated to a party with holiday craft projects, dinner, Christmas cookies and dessert. Each of the boys also received an "early Christmas present" which they were allowed to open right then and there rather than having to wait until the big day!
It is important to note that there was one Fairfield Employee who was the driving force behind making this event happen. One might ask why this individual was so passionate about doing something special for the boys and the answer might come as a suprise. That gentleman was a client at Shiloh House 19 years ago! He has a heart for kids and shared his message of encouragement to our boys. It was wonderful to see how Shiloh House made a positive impact in this mans life and even though he is a busy businessman and father himself he still made the time to give back to the community!
