Shiloh Youth Help Neighbors With Dumpster Day
On Saturday, June 19, the Columbine West Civic Association provided neighborhood residents a chance to get rid of unwanted items and Shiloh House was there to help. Eight boys from our Littleton programs assisted by unloading items from vehicles and trucks and placing them in dumpsters (really trash trucks to accommodate all the loads). They also helped sort Electronic Recycling, Metal Recycling and Document Shredding. While this provided an opportunity for some of the boys to work in the community, they were able to see how much their efforts were appreciated by others and gave them a feeling of satisfaction and pride. We are proud of our partnerships in the community, our staff and of course the children that we serve. Way To Go Shiloh!
