Volunteers
Shiloh House welcomes the opportunity for community integration and participation through the use of volunteers. We utilize volunteers in a variety of capacities in our desire to create meaningful connections and service opportunities.
Shiloh offers several different levels of volunteer involvement including, but not limited to the following:
- Office help/clerical
- Holiday preparation
- One on one tutoring
- Mentoring
- Facility repair and improvement
- Assistance in facilitation of Shiloh Clubs including martial arts, cooking, crocheting, arts and crafts, etc.
- Community outings
- Event planning
- Fundraising
In order to ensure that volunteers have a positive experience as well as to ensure the safety of our youth, all volunteers are interviewed and required to submit information for a background check. Shiloh House also provides volunteers with initial and ongoing training depending on the level of volunteer involvement.
