Compensation:

In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for  Equal Work Act, the expected salary range for this Colorado position is between $55,000-$68,000 Actual pay will be adjusted based  on experience and other job related factors permitted by law.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Program Operations & Client Services

  • Oversee daily programming, therapeutic milieu activities, recreation, and operational functions.

  • Orient new clients and coordinate medication administration.

  • Facilitate Treatment Team meetings, attend staffings, and maintain required documentation.

  • Support behavior management, educational programming, and client supervision.

  • Maintain clear communication among staff while ensuring confidentiality.

  • Monitor and document client behaviors, progress, and program outcomes.

Staff Leadership & Supervision

  • Supervise and support ETC staff, including scheduling, coverage, performance management, and annual evaluations.

  • Conduct regular supervision meetings and maintain required documentation.

  • Assist with hiring, disciplinary processes, onboarding, and staff development.

  • Review staff documentation, incident reports, and program records to ensure quality and compliance.

Facilities Management

  • Maintain a safe, clean, and well-functioning facility environment.

  • Coordinate repairs, maintenance, inspections, and vendor services.

  • Manage facility supplies, equipment, and operational resources.

  • Maintain records related to maintenance, safety, and facility operations.

Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, local, and accrediting standards, including ADA, fire safety, and environmental health regulations.

  • Conduct facility inspections, identify compliance concerns, and implement corrective actions.

  • Maintain compliance documentation, permits, certifications, and inspection records.

  • Coordinate with internal departments and external agencies during inspections and accreditation reviews.

  • Support staff training on safety procedures, emergency preparedness, and compliance requirements.

  • Monitor emergency response plans, drills, and workplace safety initiatives.

Leadership & Quality Improvement

  • Prepare reports and provide ongoing updates to the Chief Operating Officer.

  • Participate in Performance and Quality Improvement (PQI) initiatives and ensure completion of assigned action items.

  • Attend required supervision, planning meetings, and organizational trainings.

  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

Required Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Human Services, or a related field.

  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience working in an alternative educational, residential treatment, day treatment, or correctional setting serving emotionally disturbed youth.

  • Minimum of one (1) year of employment with Shiloh.

  • Experience in facilities maintenance, regulatory compliance, safety management, or a related operational role.

  • Experience with ADA regulations, fire safety codes, environmental health requirements, and other applicable compliance standards.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Strong understanding of facilities maintenance procedures and regulatory requirements.

  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proficiency with computers, information technology systems, and office software.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.

  • Ability to supervise, train, and evaluate staff.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, families, and community partners.

Essential Physical and Mental Requirements:

  • Stand for long periods of time.

  • Walk, bend, reach, and twist at any given time.

  • Drive during daytime and nighttime hours.

  • Observe multiple environments at the same time.

  • Do light cleaning, as needed.

  • Perform basic math, reading and writing.

  • Lift up to 50 pounds and lift up to 20 pounds overhead.

  • Utilize stress coping techniques during crises.

  • Endure verbally escalated clients.

  • Climb a flight of stairs.

  • Withstand outside temperatures which may include cold, snow, rain and heat.

  • Must have a valid Colorado driver’s license or the ability to obtain one with a clean motor vehicle record.

  • Applicants must successfully complete a comprehensive background screening as a condition of employment, in accordance with Colorado Department of Human Services regulations for child care facilities. This screening includes state criminal background checks, fingerprinting, sex offender registry searches, and abuse and neglect clearances. If the applicant has lived in any other state within the past five years, equivalent background and abuse/neglect checks from those states will also be conducted. In addition, all direct care applicants are required to complete a health evaluation or physical prior to beginning service to confirm they are fit for duty.
