Compensation:

In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the expected salary range for this Colorado position is between $57,000 - $63,000  per year. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job related factors permitted by law.

 Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, during standard business hours

  • Flexibility outside of these hours may be required based on program needs

Location(s):

  • Littleton – flexibility to travel to other campuses is required

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and facilitate initial Shiloh Training for new hires, ensuring all training complies with Colorado Department of Human Services (CDHS) child care regulations. Coordinate and deliver required annual and biannual trainings to maintain compliance.

  • Collaborate with leadership to develop new training tools, staff development opportunities, and an employee shadowing program.

  • Provide ongoing support and skill development for staff across all departments, including hands-on assistance in Shiloh House programs as needed.

  • Manage training scheduling, record-keeping, and update agency Training page in partnership with HR and leadership.

  • Oversee and expand the Shiloh Training program, including solving coverage needs within the department.

  • Maintain professional, respectful interactions with clients, fostering a nurturing and accepting environment while recognizing and addressing client needs proactively.

Requirements:

  • Must demonstrate a professional mindset and the ability to lead, support, and collaborate effectively with staff at all levels. 

  • Must have at least two years of college coursework in a human services or education-related field, or two years of experience in a human services or education setting combined with relevant education. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of college coursework with approval from the Administrator. 

  • Experience in training, staff development, or mentoring within a residential or child care setting is strongly preferred. 

  • Strong understanding and demonstrated mastery of direct care practices is essential to effectively support staff and ensure quality service delivery. 

  • Must possess or be willing to obtain CPI Instructor certification; candidates without current certification will be required to sign a promissory note upon hire. 

  • Must have a valid Colorado driver’s license or the ability to obtain one with a clean motor vehicle record.

  • Applicants must successfully complete a comprehensive background screening as a condition of employment, in accordance with Colorado Department of Human Services regulations for child care facilities. This screening includes state criminal background checks, fingerprinting, sex offender registry searches, and abuse and neglect clearances. If the applicant has lived in any other state within the past five years, equivalent background and abuse/neglect checks from those states will also be conducted.
