Compensation

In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the expected salary range for this Colorado position starts at $50,000 per year. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job related factors permitted by law.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for advanced administrative support for the Deputy Chief Executive Officer and the Chief Executive Officer.

  • Will assist the DCEO in email correspondence, communication internally and externally, project oversight and agency quality improvement and projects as assigned

  • Will serve as staff support and liaison on behalf of the DCEO when necessary.

  • Will be responsible for planning, coordinating and directing a broad range of service functions

  • Will be responsible for the creation and oversight of committees throughout the agency to aid in overall quality improvement.

  • Will be responsible for detection and resolution of problems within the agency and incorporating the correct feedback from others in the resolution of these problems.

  • Will assist in the implementation of any agency wide initiatives and provide continued analysis to ensure initiatives are successful.

  • Will ensure that there is an effective internal communication plan put in place whenever agency information needs to be disseminated.

Requirements

  • Must have completed a BA degree in a related field. Experience may be substituted for college with the approval of the Administrator. 

  • Must have a high level of confidentiality and professionalism when they are engaging with external and internal individuals. 

  • Must have excellent communication and writing skills to ensure effective communication is completed on all levels. 

  • Must demonstrate professional interaction with parents, outside professionals, supervisors.

  • Maintain a positive and problem solving attitude to contribute to an overall positive culture within the agency.

  • Must posses the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment, be flexible, and adjust priorities as needed.

  • Must have excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

  • Must have timely and regular attendance and punctuality.

  • Must have a working vehicle.

  • Must have a valid Colorado driver’s license or the ability to obtain one with a clean motor vehicle record.

  • Applicants must successfully complete a comprehensive background screening as a condition of employment, in accordance with Colorado Department of Human Services regulations for child care facilities. This screening includes state criminal background checks, fingerprinting, sex offender registry searches, and abuse and neglect clearances. If the applicant has lived in any other state within the past five years, equivalent background and abuse/neglect checks from those states will also be conducted. In addition, all direct care applicants are required to complete a health evaluation or physical prior to beginning service to confirm they are fit for duty.
