Compensation
In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the expected salary range for this Colorado position is between $23.00-$26.25 per hour. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job related factors permitted by law.

Shifts
The candidate selected for the Full Time Float position will be assigned a weekly schedule between the hours of 7:00 am - 3:00 pm, 5 days a week, including weekends.
The candidate selected for the Full Time Float position will be assigned to both school and residential settings as needed or based on operational needs.
Full-time hours are scheduled, however, if the employee chooses not to work full-time hours as scheduled, PTO or sick time must be used.
The employee must demonstrate flexibility with the scheduling process.
Location
Based in Commerce City
Primary coverage in Commerce City and Longmont
Will be expected to travel to all locations (Longmont, Littleton, Centennial, Commerce City)
Responsibilities
Work with MA level Clinicians and Special Education Teachers on a daily basis
Collaborate within the framework of the client's treatment team in the completion of instructional activities and behavior management
Implement treatment plans and individualized education plans in an appropriate manner as directed by the client's clinician and teacher
Implement and maintain structure within the program and create/follow a routine
Provide intensive supervision, documentation, and organization
Utilize strong verbal de-escalation and positive strong boundaries
Basic meal preparation and light housekeeping
Conduct daily room inspections and15-minute bed checks with a focus on safety and security
Transport clients to and from school, activities, appointments, etc.
Attend treatment team and required training
Responsible for working with youth who have emotional and behavioral issues resulting from trauma and neglect, and who display verbal and physical aggression.
Requirements
Must have a professional mentality
Must be able to pass several background checks
Must have a valid Colorado driver’s license or the ability to obtain one with a clean motor vehicle record
Must be willing to pass FBI fingerprint & child abuse database background checks
Due to the short length of stay for these clients, mastery of direct care skills are a must
Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must be at least 23 years of age (will consider 22 years of age) and meet one of the following educational and experience requirements:
Two (2) years of college education (equivalent to 60 semester credits); OR
An Associate’s degree; OR
A high school diploma or equivalent plus two (2) years of experience in the human services field; OR
A high school diploma or equivalent, plus 30 college semester credits, and at least one (1) year of experience in the human services field
Preferred Qualification:
Bachelor's Degree in related field
